This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

This course is delivered via a combination of- Virtual Face to Face Training Sessions 2 days per week, classes held 9.30am – 3.30pm 16 hours per week of self-paced flexible learning including completion of assignments 1:1 coaching to provide all the support you need 160 hours of mandatory practical placement (Please note that practical placement is a mandatory component of achieving this qualification. In the event that COVID restrictions are enforced or government directives prohibit student placement in workplaces such as aged care facilities your course will take longer to achieve)

There are no prerequisites to gain entry into CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
For entry into this course you will require adequate language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills in English that allow you to read and interpret information, understand training, demonstrate leadership skills as well as provide and follow clear instructions, and prepare written assignments and documents for assessment.
